Amadeus is an eclectic and bohemian-inspired jewellery collection founded by Nathalie Simond. After spending her childhood living in several different countries, she decided to put down roots in London. Nathalie’s affordable and feminine designs are influenced by her love for travel and her experience working for many high-profile fashion designers.
All Amedeus jewellery is handcrafted by Nathalie, mainly from gold and natural gemstones. We chat with her to find out more about her collection.
When did you first fall in love with jewellery?
“I was always very creative as a child and one of my favourite past times with my friends was to make friendship bracelets for them. It was so popular I was taking orders from friends and would do little collections.”

What inspires your designs?
“Travelling is my main inspiration. I have lived in many countries such as France, Italy, England, and America, and travelled all over the globe. I love experiencing different cultures and completely changing my environment.”

Tell us about one of your most inspiring clients…
“One of my most inspiring custom projects was for a burlesque theatre in Paris. They asked me to create 6 custom jewellery head pieces for a show. I love burlesque and just doing research on vintage pieces was fascinating... then seeing the end results in the show was one of my best moments!”
Where do you see your brand in 5 years?
“I would love to be using more refined materials and also have a range for children.”
