Last Friday, we had the pleasure of hosting a JewelStreet Mother’s Day Lunch and photoshoot at The Ivy Brasserie in Bristol. We invited your favourite influencers to take a look at our top jewellery picks for Mother’s Day… so of course, we asked them to bring their mums along to sample the gorgeous designer pieces. From glittering drop earrings to dainty silver necklaces, the room was adorned with a dazzling selection of jewellery. The sun shone brightly for the occasion, and it was lovely to see our weeks of planning and preparation come together on a day filled with glitz, glamour and fun!
Jewellery carries so much meaning, and we wanted our Mother’s Day campaign to convey the love and sentiment that is captured within the gift of jewellery. After a very busy morning setting up (which included two trips from our Bristol offices, some questionable parking, heavy lifting in heels, and two much-needed cups of coffee) the room was finally ready!
We had displayed jewellery from 12 of our talented designers: Mishanto London, Roz Buehrlen, Fran Regan Jewellery, Amara Amara, Jana Reinhardt Jewellery, Blush & Bashful, Sharon Mills Jewellery, Nadia Minkoff, Katherine Bree, Perle de Lune, Pomegranate, and ORA Pearls. We even had the pleasure of hosting two of our designers on the day, Sharon Mills and Fran Regan. Having wrote about their brand and their jewellery on numerous occasions, it was a privilege to put a face to the name.
Alise Jane, the very talented photographer who shot the JewelStreet Valentine’s Day campaign (see here) arrived ready to capture the Mother’s Day magic! Once the room was ready, our lovely bloggers started to arrive. Kayleigh Pope - destination wedding photographer and blogger - was first to arrive with her lovely Mum, Jayne. Kayleigh was wearing an array of gorgeous gold jewellery, including a very special gold ring with a warm-coloured gemstone that once had belonged to her grandmother. Talking to Kayleigh really brought home the value and worth an item of jewellery can harbour, and what better way to celebrate this than trying on jewellery with her mum!
As soon as Lucy Eastment walked in the room, her background in styling was visible. Wearing a crisp white shift dress, Lucy provided us with a beautiful canvas to adorn with our selection of jewellery. She and her chic mum, Gloria, emanated elegance trying on Amara Amara and Katherine Bree’s wonderful designs. As a mother of two, Lucy’s expertise in styling proves how one can radiate confidence through their clothing and jewellery. The JewelStreet girls all got involved helping our guests try on jewellery and photographing the wonderful looks within the gorgeous backdrop of The Ivy.
Model, actress and influencer, Nadia Achha, looked fabulous wearing Nadia Minkoff’s glittering jewellery. Nadia and I discussed her jewellery style - she often goes for tribal motifs and enjoys elevating her outfits with statement earrings. Our marketing executive Viv, certainly knew that Nadia Achha and Nadia Minkoff jewellery would be a match made in heaven - just look how radiant she looks in her creations! Nadia and her mum, Sara, served up some mother-daughter finesse as they helped style and photograph each other in their beautiful ensembles.
Blonde beauties Katie Konstanz and Zoe Hinwood looked stunning in pink florals and frills. Drenched in an array of glittering jewels, the influencers enjoyed shooting in the golden sunshine. Katie is renowned for her pink aesthetic, which is why we chose to style her in ORA Pearls’ delicate and feminine picks. Twinning in pink with her mother Angela, the two showed us that 2019 is definitely the year for pink panache! Zoe was a breath of fresh air in a gorgeous floral gown. Embracing the winter sun, Zoe and her mum enjoyed styling each other with Mishanto London and Pomegranate's fabulous designs.
After a morning packed with fun and fashion flair, we all sat down for a delicious lunch, discussing all things sparkly! Our appetite for jewellery was temporarily put on pause and our appetite for chocolate took over with The Ivy’s signature chocolate bomb dessert! (I highly recommend a trip to The Ivy for this alone!)
After our appetites were sated, we were then joined by the lovely Rafaella Ponce, who looked magnificent modelling our sparkles as the event drew to a close. Doesn’t she look utterly fabulous?
Once the event was over, the girls at JewelStreet got to enjoy golden hour from the comfort of The Ivy's conservatory - and relax! Sun and jewellery, what better way to end a fabulous day.
Thank you to our lovely influencers, designers and the wonderful team at The Ivy who made the vision for our Mother’s Day campaign come to life. Watch this space for more images from the event, and soon we will be launching our Mother’s Day video! In the meantime, get inspired with our gorgeous selection of jewellery at JewelStreet.
