Since her emergence in 2008 with her debut album, The Fame, Lady Gaga has very rarely left the public eye. Her experimental performance style and her venture into acting has captivated the general public and everyone is in awe of her, waiting to see what she does next. Her transition from her monster ‘pop genre’ persona, to her male alter ego Jo Calderone, to her calmer more poised self that we see today, Lady Gaga is an artist that will never be forgotten and adored for years to come.

Another aspect of Lady Gaga that is iconic are her fashion choices. Her everyday outfits, music video looks and red carpet designs are extravagant and at times controversial but one thing’s for sure - they’re never boring. Lady Gaga made us want to wear Coca Cola cans in our hair after the Telephone music video, make our own coat out of Kermit the Frog puppets and wear a crown with almost everything. No one can do it like Gaga!

We’re looking at Gaga’s best looks and show you how to steal her jewellery style.

I’ll Never Meat (dress) The Ground

We’re starting off our list with one of Gaga’s most talked about and controversial outfits. At the 2010 MTV VMAs, Gaga wore a dress made out of raw beef, with high heels and fascinator to match. The dress was designed by Franc Fernandez and Gaga wore it with long blue tipped hair, fishnet tights and large silver jewellery. The dress caused many animal rights controversies and has its very own Wikipedia page! To get the Gaga look - without making your own meat dress and stinking of raw beef - pick oversized statement silver accessories. She wore an intricate collar necklace with cuff bracelets to match. Katarina Cudic has a stunning collection of matching cuffs and necklaces, made from silver with accents of 14kt gold, featuring hammered textures and mesh detailing.

Gaga had numerous looks in the music video, but her Franc Fernandez chainmail necklace that ran from her neck over her shoulders and down her torso has to be a favourite. Bejeweled to the max and sporting some tiny silver hot pants, Gaga looked stunning. Bedazzle yourself in an elaborate and lengthy statement necklace to get the Bad Romance look.
