We had such a wonderful time at the JewelStreet pop-up shop in Westgate Oxford. From meeting our talented designers to helping our customers find the perfect gifts, it was a week full of great fashion and inspiring stories.

The event kicked off with a bang, with Mishanto, SVP Jewellery and Vurchoo displaying their dazzling pieces. Many of our designers took the hot seat at our #MeetTheMaker jewellery bench to discuss their brand history and show you all their fabulous jewellery. Head over to our Instagram to see highlights from each day!

SVP

JewelStreet handpicks jewellery designers from all over the world, so it was an absolute pleasure to meet them in person and get more insight into their brands.

From Naomi Davies Jewellery, Roz Buehrlen and Julie Nicaisse Jewellery’s edgy rocker designs to Tsai x Tsai, LaParra Jewels and Gemondo’s gemstone treasures. We showcased so many different styles meaning there was something for everyone!

It was fascinating to hear about all the designer’s sources of inspiration. Jo from Mantra Jewellery discussed her love of words and how that lies at the heart of her jewellery brand. Agneta from Agneta Bugyte showed us her intricately organised sketch book, delving into her design process and how she gets up at 4am to work in total silence (wow!)

Marcello Riccio dazzled us with some amazing pieces from his fine jewellery collection. I had the pleasure of trying on a glittering aquamarine and diamond ring. It was hard to part with such an incredible piece, I must say!

At the other end of the spectrum, Peak Jewellery’s adventure-inspired pieces are a complete reflection of designer, Michelle, who revels in outdoor activities such as mountain climbing and extreme sports. Two different styles, but equally unique and beautiful!

We got to meet our young female designers who are shaking up the industry, such as Mei-Li and Ellie from BUFF, Laura from Laura Adele Jewellery, and Emily from Emily Grace Jewellery. As a team of ambitious women, it was great for the JewelStreet team to meet so many inspiring women and celebrate their successes together.

The lovely Pamela Dickinson shared her wisdom and knowledge. Pamela has worked in the jewellery industry for over 50 years, so to say discussing her brand journey was inspiring is a huge understatement.

Corinne Hamak and Kaizarin gave us a gemstone masterclass. Corinne showcased a beautiful pair of rough sapphire studs, which, for me, was love at first sight! Meanwhile, Kaizarin showed us how she makes a pair of her signature birthstone drop earrings. To actually see how our designers craft their pieces was a truly wonderful experience!

One of our newest designers, ChloBo Jewellery displayed their stunning range of stacking bracelets and contemporary earrings, which would be paired beautifully with Lily Blanche's lockets and Latelita London’s gorgeous designs. Latelita London and Lily Blanche were our JewelStreet residents for the week - we’re very lucky to be able to represent such talented designers.

Nadia Minkoff

We had some diverse pieces on display over the weekend. From Cristina Cipolli Jewellery’s architectural pieces, to Nadia Minkoff’s fun and statement designs - we loved it all. Jewel Tree London also came to showcase their signature collection, which was very popular indeed!

On top of all the excitement, we threw an exclusive cocktail evening on the Friday evening, where journalists and designers enjoyed gem-inspired cocktails.

Our designers brought up their unique, handmade jewellery, showing the public exactly why shopping from independent designers gives you better and higher quality jewellery!

We also were sharing the love with daily jewellery giveaways, where so many of you won beautiful, handcrafted pieces straight from the designers.

A huge thank you to all of our incredible designers for making our pop-up shop so unique and special. Championing handcrafted jewellery is what JewelStreet is all about.

So stay tuned. We'll see you at the next event...
