Jewelstreet hosted an exclusive fashion press preview at The Beaumont Hotel in Mayfair  on the 23rd November.  Co-hosted by Jewelstreet's CEO & the former fashion director of Red Magazine, Nicola Rose, it showcased a handpicked edit of 10 stand out independent designers and brands of the 350 available on Jewelstreet.

The event was exclusively open to fashion directors to the top UK publications and we were thrilled to host over 20 of the most celebrated fashion directors in the UK today including the Executive Fashion Director of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Red magazine, Maire Claire, Glamour, The Guardian & The Times and more.

The response was from the press was fantastic, especially the quality and variety of the jewellery from all over the world.

Jewelstreet has established itself as a global jewellery destination, bringing together over 350 of the finest independent jewellery designers from around the globe. Former Creative Director of Red Magazine and fashion stylist, Nicola Rose curated 350 designers down to a succinct edit of jewellery from 10 of our key brands and invited some of the most influential figures in the British fashion press to come and experience the jewellery for themselves. She commented, “There are some great brands that I’ve discovered on Jewelstreet. Jessie V E, YAMA Jewelry, Dana Bronfman are all pieces I would gravitate towards myself and a personal favourite of mine, Robinson Pelham, which I have bought jewellery from before.”

Her picks took attendees on a journey around the world; starting in London with vibrant statement jewels by established brand Robinson Pelham, down to Portugal with Mimata Jewelry, across to Singapore where there were dainty designs from Lucy & Mui, and over to NYC for Dana Bronfman’s collection of stacking jewellery and Toronto for Laurie Flemming's romantic designs.

Rising star, YAMA Jewelry captured the attention of press. Architect turned jewellery designer, Maya’s collection of contemporary rings are a hybrid of her geometric style and urban inspiration. Cypriot designer, MyriamSOS, was chosen for her playful use of strong linear lines, designed for strong-minded contemporary women like Myriam herself.

London proved itself as home to some of the world’s most innovative jewellery designers. Nicola chose a wearable collection of pieces from Mei-Li Rose’s beautifully understated new Cirque line. The fun collection from one of London’s most innovative new jewellery designers, Jessie V E, was a huge hit with fashion press. Her symbolic designs are a conversation starter and often feature a hidden secret or personalised meaning. Nicola’s picks from heritage brand, Daou, were undeniably beautiful, with her warm-hued Golden Bright ring and feminine opal Phoenix ring making a true statement.
