1. On a nature reserve
The nature reserve at Port Lympne Hotel and Reserve in Kent has an impressive 600 acres of private land housing many rare and endangered species and five beautiful venues to host your wedding! You and your guests can enjoy a VIP safari and a variety of animal experiences can be arranged (like giraffe feeding and meeting tigers!)


2. A Market Hall
Very much a part of the bustling market (have no fear, it’s closed off for private events) the Market Hall is a stunning glass structure with views of the historic green market and Borough High Street. This beautiful venue has big open spaces, amazing London views and sits in the heart of a historic market place (and its approved for Civil Marriages and Civil Partnerships!)


3. At a Planetarium
Why not get married amongst the stars?
The Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium is the perfect (star filled) backdrop to celebrate your future together. You can have an intimate ceremony for up to 22 people in the National Space Centre itself or up to 192 guests in the Planetarium surrounded by a 360-degree star-lit cinematic experience! You and your guests will have exclusive use of the entire venue, and are free to explore to your heart's content.


4. At a funfair!
Fancy saying “I do” in the original British amusement park? Dreamland is a totally unique venue, offering vintage rides, a beautifully landscaped park (both perfect for the ultimate wedding photos) and six reception venues. You can arrange exclusive use of the rides; who wouldn’t remember a wedding where they went on a Big Wheel, Dodgem cars and the Waltzers?!


5. Surrounded by tropical plants (but still in the heart of London)
The conservatory in the Barbican Centre in filled with tropical plants, tranquil fish pools and boasts spectacular views of the London skyline. If you want to have it all and get married in the city but also be in nature, then this is the place for you!


6.The Roman Baths
Bath is home to many beautiful, historic venues, which all host spectacular weddings! You can enjoy an enchanting evening at the Roman Baths where you and your guests will be gathered on 2000 year old Roman paving, lit by romantic, flickering torch light and surrounded by the peaceful flowing waters of the baths to witness you magical “I do” moment.


7. Hand carved tunnels by the North Devon Coast
Nestled in the cliffs along the North Devon coast are beautiful hand-carved tunnels and a thatched, wooden panel gazebo overlooking a beautiful Devon beach. Sounds magical right?? You can get married the unique and bespoke wooden panelled building, hidden away in the cliffs, offering an un-spoilt view of the ocean, the gazebo overlooking the beach or even within the tunnels themselves!


8. In a windmill!
Cley Windmill is an enchanting windmill on the north Norfolk coast surrounded by enchanting countryside views. The venue has a delightful sitting room, balcony and walled garden, perfect for a romantic intimate ceremony. The beautiful brickwork building also doubles as a charming bed and breakfast so you and your guests can enjoy this delightful venue all weekend (and try one of their ‘Norfolk Cream Teas’)!


9. At the cinema
No, we don’t mean your local cinema! The Everyman Screen on the Green is one of the oldest cinemas in the UK, it’s iconic facade lights up Islington and houses all the glitz and glam of a bygone era. Why not walk down the same aisle as the Sex Pistols and The Clash??


10. A fort you can only access by boat.
Fancy getting married on your own private island? I’m afraid we can’t help you there, but we’ve found the next best thing! The Spitbank Fort is an exclusive island fortress that can only be accessed by boat as it sits 1 mile from land! As well as being a quirky and unusual space, the venue has luxurious bedrooms for you and your guests, a reception space, library and a Jacuzzi!
