Two of Most are a New York jewelry brand who embody tough luxe, thoughtful designs, and the belief that all women deserve “one of everything and two of most”. Alyssa Mishcon is the creative woman behind the brand and credits a lot of her inspiration to her beloved grandmother and great-grandmother. Her designs are minimal, sleek and perfect for layering. We chat to Alyssa to find out more about her contemporary jewelry line.
What inspired you to start designing jewelry?
“Much of my jewelry belonged to my grandmother and great-grandmother, and as I began to design I gravitated towards creating pieces that I could wear alongside theirs. I took inspiration from the proportions and fabrication in yellow gold, and added a modern take.”
How would you describe your jewelry?
“Our design aesthetic is built on simple, sleek shapes, often in exaggerated proportions. The collection is designed to be layered and stacked, creating compelling negative space effects and stimulating dimensions as the wearer adds additional pieces.”
How do you want someone to feel when they wear your jewelry?
“The power of making an individual statement, as well as a sense of enjoyment and a bit of indulgence.”
If you weren’t designing jewelry, what would you be doing?
“Prior to founding Two of Most, I served as president/senior executive of several world class luxury brands. I had the pleasure of working with incredibly talented teams and finely crafted product, and would have happily continued that work.”
