How did your brand begin?
Oliver Twist Designs started as a small business; creating treasurable, handmade, bespoke jewelry that holds meaning and memory for our customers. One customer once said to me, 'you make true treasure'.
Values are really important to us at JewelStreet. What are your core brand values?
We are a brand with sustainability and ethical practice always at the heart of our design process. All of our unique designs are hand crafted using recycled precious metals whenever possible. Nothing we sell is mass produced in factories.
How do you want someone to feel when they wear your jewelry?
Our jewelry is there to make you (the wearer) feel special. Each piece of jewelry we make holds sentimental meanings for the wearer. Be it a lucky charm or a loved ones unique mark, everything we make is personal and unique.
If you could only wear one piece from your collection, what would it be and why?
I’d wear one of my original designs... 'Ring with a Twist'. It is my wedding ring so it’s very special to me. It is also the design that inspired me to start the brand Oliver Twist Designs.
What's the best piece of advice you've been given? (And have you actually used it?)
It’s not really a piece of advice but lyrics. 'We're here for a good time, Not a long time'. These words inspired me to take the leap and start my own business.
What music do you play in the studio whilst you’re working?
BBC Radio 2 Everyday!
