About

Hannah Blackwood Jewellery

I had my first taste of making jewellery age 9 when I did an enamelling course, alas enamelling wasn't my forte but jewellery making is.

I studied Silversmithing, Goldsmithing and Jewellery at university and graduated with a first. I've always been artistic, when I'm not busy designing or making jewellery you can usually find me with my trusty sketchbook drawing.

I'm inspired by natural form (I think everyone is to a degree), tattoos and possibly my biggest source of inspiration…pocket watches. I love the miniature wonders of engineering and their intrinsic beauty.

With my jewellery I want to create something a bit different, something that the owner loves to wear. I design and make all my own jewellery in a small workshop in Surrey.
